Write a short reflective blog post about your findings on new technologies. Which technologies did you use? Which do you think will be most useful to you in Media studies?
I have used lots of different technologies so far in media. One of these was this blog (google blog) this is because this will help me improve my skills and will allow me to upload my course work content up onto it, this means I will be constantly updating and improving my blog allowing me to completely understand how to use it to my advantage.
Flickr is an easy website to use and I think it will be helpful for my blog and also all the other parts of media I need to use it for. Flickr will be good for searching for good quality photos I may want to use for my course work and also good for storing photos and it ties in with other websites such as think-link which will therefore make it easier to find the photos I need and where I can access them as its online I can then access it at home.
Think-link will be useful for making my pictures interactive which will be good for making my blog look more interesting. Think-link will also be good for when I need to annotate picture as it will look much more neater then having arrows come of the photo.
Slide share is a website that can be used to make slide shows for presentation, this will be useful for the future when needing to make my presentation look a bit more exciting. The great thing about slide share is that its really easy to share on social media to get your ideas out there.
I don't think I will be a big fan of firework because I don't think the software can fully help me produce the quality work I would like however it will be useful to make magazine covers and the results you get from the software probably get better with practice.
During my blog I will have to present a lot of information so I don't want to do it on all the same technologies so therefore I have researched different technologies I can use to present my ideas and founding: Prezi, zoho, emaze and visme.
