These were my first attempts at creating my contents page: The first one (on the right, brown colored background) I never finished because as you can see it is very dark and dull. The photo looked like it was trying to blend into the background but it didn't work which made it looked a bit tacky. I liked how I put the page number and title next to the photo because I felt that it filled up the empty space a bit more. I decided to start again with another photo and background image.
In the second contents page draft it looks much better than my first attempt however I still wasn't happy with it and felt that it looked boring. Even though it wasn't finished before I tried again the contact details at the bottom of the page doesn't look professional and doesn't suit the look I was going for.
